Аннотация
The article by Candidate of Historical Sciences G.Beloglazov «On the Fields of Manchuria» continues the series of his articles on the Russian agricultural colonization of Manchuria at the beginning of the 20th century (See «Russia and the Pacific», 1997, №4). The author examines the part of the Russians (in particular, the former workers who were building the Chinese Eastern Railway) who took part in the agricultural development of Manchuria. Their activity till the early 30s of the 20th century had a tenden-cy of growth. The occupation of Manchuria by Japan interrupted the course of natural process of colonization.
